As a triathlete I am a bit OCD. I love to be organized for a race. It seems that in this sport you are either completely OCD or a walking mess. I do get some flack from my tri buddies on how I lay everything out the night before a race and check and recheck my transition bag for the essentials and their backups. I have been to races unprepared before and for me, that is the kiss of death! For the past few seasons, I have used and lugged many types of bags holding transition gear and have absolutely hated digging in a duffel for gear in the pre-race darkness of the transition area. Review Outdoor Gear:
As a runner and triathlete, the watch is an essential piece of equipment. I think this fact is often overlooked by novice athletes. I have always been a fan and owner of watches from the TIMEX Ironman series and have never even thought of looking elsewhere for another timepiece.
